Susan Bulkeley Butler Women’s Archives
The Susan Bulkeley Butler Women’s Archives celebrated Women’s History Month (March) with its inaugural exhibit, a reception, and a new donation of valuable papers from former Purdue deans of women, Dorothy Stratton, Helen Schleman, and Beverley Stone. Aviation pioneer receives honorary doctorate from Purdue
Purdue Libraries and the College of Engineering co-sponsored Ralph Johnson, a 101-year-old alumnus and innovator in the field of aviation, for an honorary doctorate degree at the May 2008 commencement. Purdue Press publishes John Purdue bio, open access journals
The Purdue Press recently published a new biography of John Purdue, Uncle: My Journey with John Purdue, by Purdue’s niece Irene McCammon Scott. Click here to read more.
