These funds are directed to important programs in the Libraries that fall outside the normal budget cycle or spending guidelines for University funds.

Class of 1960 50th Anniversary Project
The Class of 1960 has chosen to raise $150,000 to both name the beautiful exhibit space in the Virginia Kelly Karnes Archives and Special Collections Research Center and to preserve Purdue’s most valuable collections. The exhibit space showcases the treasures and artifacts of outstanding Boilermakers who have made our University what it is today.
The Class of 1960 Preservation Fund will help ensure that students, faculty, alumni, and friends will have long term access to items of enduring value.

Susan Bukley Butler Women’s Archives
This new program will help preserve the history of women of Purdue through the acquisition of papers, oral histories of women faculty and alumni, and other programs. Click here to visit the official website.
Oral History Program Dr. Beering & Katie Markee Oral History Program
The Oral History program was launched in the summer of 2006 by the Dean of Libraries, James Mullins, to capture and preserve reminiscences by individuals who have been associated with the University and its growth, changes and history. Click here to visit the official website.
   
PULSE
PULSE Award
Purdue University Libraries Student Employee Award is an endowed fund started and funded primarily by the faculty and staff of the Libraries. Each year, one or two awards are given for the top student workers in the Libraries. Awards are $500-$1,000. Click here for more information.
Books
Honor and Remember with Books
You can honor someone on special occasions such as birthdays, graduations, Mother’s Day, anniversaries, retirements, or promotions. You may also remember someone who has passed away. For a gift of $100, a bookplate will be permanently affixed to a book noting the person you are honoring or remembering, along with the name of the donor.
