Gift Acceptance Policy

We greatly appreciate the generosity of our donors in bringing scholarly materials to our users!

In order to best serve our students and faculty, the Libraries implemented a revised gift acceptance policy in May 2009. This policy applies to donations of books, periodicals, or other collection items that are categorized as gifts-in-kind.
Potential gifts, provided as an itemized list or examined during an on-site visit, are reviewed and approved by a Libraries subject specialist in the appropriate field. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept books or journals that are already in the Libraries collections due to space constraints.
