ATTENTION - Migration to SciFinder Web REQUIRED - Please read
|
Because it does not look like we are going to resolve the continuing technical difficulties with SciFinder and the Citrix Server anytime soon, the best possible solution at this time is to migrate us over to the new web version of SciFinder (even if only temporarily). This web version is nearly identical in features to the current version and actually has additional features not available in our current set-up. I am still testing this version and therefore will be learning it alongside the rest of you given this short time frame. One of the important changes is that everyone will create their own account that will allow you to create customized email search alerts (something not currently available in the Citrix environment). Please click on the link below to begin your registration (Be sure to choose the “New Account Registration” link.): http://purl.lib.purdue.edu/db/scifinder Tips for Registration
A series of how-to guides and online tutorials is available from CAS at: *Remember we will still only have 6 concurrent users, so as people initially try out the web version, you may not be able to login on the first (or second) try. Please remember to log off when finished.
