Census Information The Census Bureau produces many publications chronicling the
U.S.´ demographic and economic development. These publications
are available in paper, microfiche, CD-ROM, and the Internet.

U.S. Government publications from 1976-present can also be searched in the GPO

Census Bureau publications in Purdue Libraries can be found
in the HSSE and MEL Libraries. Population census material
will be in HSSE while economic census data will be at MGMT.

Census Bureau also compiles an Economic
Census every
five years with the most recent being 2002.
Print versions of these publications are located
in the MEL Library. They are also available
on CD-ROM and the Internet. Such reports contain analysis
of economic activity broken down nationally and
by state, county, and industry.
