Laws, Regulations, and Court Decisions

Defense Security Cooperation Agency-DOD agency responsible for administering U.S. military assistance programs to foreign countries.
Defense Science Board-Advises the Secretary of Defense and other DOD officials on scientific, technological, engineering, research, and manufacturing issues. Its website features a number of innovative research reports.
Defense Threat Reduction Agency-DOD agency responsible for reducing threats to U.S. and international security from biological, chemical, and nuclear weapons.
Government Accountability Office-Congressional support agency evaluating the performance of government programs for Congress and issuing numerous reports documenting the strengths and weaknesses of these programs.
Joint Chiefs of Staff-Serves as the principal military advisor to the President, Secretary of Defense, and National Security Council. Provides leadership over the military's unified commands including Central Command which is responsible for U.S. military operations in areas such as Afghanistan and Iraq.
