Equipment Check-Out at Hicks Undergraduate Library

The Purdue Libraries and Information Technology at Purdue combined resources in 2002 to create the Digital Learning Collaboratory. The Digital Learning Collaboratory’s (also known as the DLC) mission is to support and facilitate integrated learning of information and technology literacy for Purdue University students. To accomplish these goals, the DLC provides several services, including a state-of-the-art computer lab and various types of audio/visual equipment that patrons can borrow.

The DLC computer lab is located in the Hicks Undergraduate Library (HIKS B853). If you would like more information about the facility, it can be found at https://www.dlc.purdue.edu/

The DLC equipment is located at the iDesk in the Hicks Undergraduate Library. All Purdue University faculty, staff, and students are allowed to borrow the equipment. Checkout times are:

Monday - Thursday	7:00 am - 11:30 pm
Friday	7:00 am - 4:30 pm
Saturday	9:00 am - 9:30 pm
Sunday	1:00 pm - 11:30 pm
*Please note that these hours are subject to change for several reasons, including summer and holiday hours.

Reservations

Reservations for DLC equipment can be made in person at the iDesk or by calling 765-494-6733. Reservations can be made for one night and three nights. Patrons must have a valid Purdue ID at the time of checkout and may only borrow one unit of each equipment type at a time.

Early reservations are advisable due to high demand. Equipment cannot be renewed. Failure to pick up equipment on the day of reservation will result in cancellation.
