Writing Lab

The Undergraduate Library hosts a satellite location of Purdue's Writing Lab. Writing tutors will be available for free, drop-in writing consultations in Room E-F in the Digital Learning Collaboratory (lower level of UGRL) on Monday evenings from 7 - 10 p.m.

This collaborative effort between the Libraries and the Writing Lab will provide additional opportunities for students to get much-needed help as they develop class projects that require both research and writing. The location in the DLC highlights the ability of Writing Lab consultants to provide feedback on any type of writing, including multimedia projects, essays and research papers.

Writing consultations typically last approximately 30 minutes, during which the writing tutor can help the student with any stage of the writing process, from getting started on an assignment to the final stages of revision. Please note that the tutor will offer feedback and advice, but they will not make any changes on a paper, nor will they edit or "fix" a paper for the student.
