The Aviation Technology Library is located in the Purdue University Airport Terminal. The library serves as Purdue’s resource for aviation information and supports the teaching and research activities of the Department of Aviation Technology. The collection includes over 4,000 book and journal volumes to support the department’s programs: Aeronautical Engineering Technology, Aviation Management Technology, and Professional Flight Technology. Subject areas covered by these programs include aircraft design, maintenance, manufacturing, air traffic control, airport management, airline operations, and flight training.

The major emphasis of the Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences Library (EAPS Library) collection is in the following subject areas: Atmospheric Sciences, General Geology, Paleontology, Structural Geology, Sedimentology, Geoscience Teaching, Geophysics, Geochemistry, Mineralogy, Petrology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Geology, Planetary Sciences and Hydrogeology. The EAPS Library is a depository of the U.S. Geological Survey. State geological survey material is collected from various states. The collections and services of the EAS Library are available to the entire university community, though this library primarily supports the research and instructional activities of the Department of the Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences' faculty, students, and staff.

The Humanities, Social Sciences and Education Library (HSSE), located in Stewart Center, houses a large print collection that supports scholarly research and includes nonfiction, classic literature, children’s literature, contemporary literature, government documents and periodicals. The main floor features over 40 workstations, as well as printers, photocopier/scanners, and collaborative or individual study areas. Quiet study areas and other group study rooms are also available on the remaining three floors. Research assistance is available at the service desk and by appointment. Located near the large lecture room in Lilly Hall of Sciences (LILY), the entry level of the Life Sciences Library has a number of group study tables and access to the Libraries resources from twenty ITaP computers. Carrels and additional tables located on the third and fourth floors of the library around the book and journal stacks are for quiet study. Windows on each level look down on State Street activities and north toward Ross-Ade Stadium.

In recognition of Professor Melvin Guy Mellon's contributions to the Department of Chemistry and to the field of chemical literature, the chemistry library was dedicated as the M. G. Mellon Library of Chemistry in 1973. The present library is now much larger than its original single room. At present, the M. G. Mellon Library of Chemistry spans six rooms and three floors. The current head of the library is Prof. Jeremy R. Garritano, Chemical Information Specialist and Associate Professor of Library Science.

The Roland G. Parrish Library of Management & Economics supports the mission of Purdue University by providing business resources and collaborative spaces for both students and faculty. In addition to an extensive collection of books and journals, Parrish Library provides access both on and off-campus to a wide array of databases and other research tools.
In 2012, Parrish Library completed a $4.2 million dollar renovation project of the entire library space. As a result, Parrish now boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including the Steelcase LearnLab™ IMPACT classroom, modern conference rooms, and integrated group study spaces. The open concept focuses on collaboration and the use of technology to enhance access to library resources.

Potter Engineering Center, holds a large print collection that includes journals, books, standards, government documents and technical reports. More than 20 workstations are located throughout the library, as well as two printers and two photocopier/scanners. The library is designed to facilitate different types of study, from individual carrels for independent study to small group study rooms to a conference room and classroom. Research assistance is available at the information desk and by appointment.

Plans to redefine designated quiet study space and to increase group study opportunities are currently underway in the Veterinary Medical Library located in Lynn Hall (LYNN). An ITaP lab with twenty computers on the building’s second floor is only accessible from within the library. Three ITaP computers in the library and wireless connectivity provide access to the Libraries resources. Veterinary- and health-related materials are located on compact shelving located in the stacks room.
