Energy Information Administration (EIA), created by Congress
in 1977, is a statistical agency of the U.S. Department of
Energy. They provide policy- independent data, forecasts,
and analyses to promote sound policy making, efficient markets,
and public understanding regarding energy and its interaction
with the economy and environment.

Bureau of Land Management
The
Bureau of Land Management (BLM) administers 264 million acres
of America's public lands, located primarily in 12 Western
States. The BLM sustains the health, diversity, and productivity
of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and
future generations.
