Follow the Bloomberg "World Equities" link to locate a comprehensive geographic list of all the major international stock indexes. The current or most recent trading day's index figures are listed.
Standards & Poor's Statistical Service
Although located in Germany, the DAX site does provide English-language information about a host of the Deutsche Borse composite indexes including the DAX, MDAX, DAX 100, and CDAX. Links to the individual company homepages are provided, when available. Other links on this site provide information about German bonds.
On the NASDAQ site, choose "Company Look-Up" to search for a particular issue. This site also provides a glossary of stock trading terms, but it is not as extensive as that provided on the NYSE site.
The Internet site of the New York Stock Exchange offers a listing of its member companies and the Exchange's Annual Report. There is also an extensive glossary of terms often heard in the stock trading culture. A running list of new NYSE listing companies by the date of their first listing is included. The current list goes back about 10 months.
The Tokyo Stock Exchange site is available in Japanese or English. It provides complete listings of the companies that trade in the 1st, 2nd, and Foreign Sections. The companies are grouped by industry sector. Links to company homepages are provided, when available.
