Includes data and links to resources covering treasury, municipal, and corporate bonds and bond funds. Through this site it is also possible to obtain valuations of prices of municipal bonds. This free service is provided by R.W. Smith & Associates who will respond by email within 48 hours (2 business days) of any inquiry. Links are provided to the major corporate bond rating companies (Moody's, S&P, Fitch, and Duff & Phelps), but there is little actual ratings information available for free through them. The corporate bonds link does offer a nice chart which compares the ratings schemes of the four above-mentioned companies. Following the "Bond Professor" link will lead to a nice glossary of terms used in the bond trading industry.
