Course Reserves
Students: Find out what's
on Reserve for your class:
In addition to being able to search the online Catalog for books in
the general collection by author, title, subject, keywords, etc., you
can
also search for materials that a professor may have put on "Reserve"
for a particular class. These may be materials from the general
collection, personal copies of books owned by the professor, photocopies
of articles, old tests, etc.
- From the main Catalog search page, or after clicking "new search" on any page in the Catalog, select "Course Reserves"
- Search by instructor, course, department, or section
Professors: Put
a book on Reserve for your class:
If you want to have a book (library-owned or your personal copy), journal
article, or other material put on Reserve for a class, please let us
know.
With a Purdue ID, materials placed on Reserve may be checked out for 2
hours. Please note that, due to copyright restrictions, we can only
place one copy of photocopied material on Reserve. We are urging
faculty to consider putting class notes up on the web, at a class web
site, rather than having them available in the library. Contact: Cheryl
Smith, csmith68@purdue.edu
(4-1418).
Renew Books
Now you can renew books online.
Recall a Book
If you need a book that someone else has checked out, submit a recall request for the book, electronically!
