Reference Services
In keeping with the Libraries' Reference Services Mission Statement, direct assistance is available from Libraries staff to help guide you in the most effective use of information resources. Trained staff can help you locate specific information, select appropriate resources, learn how to use information resources effectively, or refer you to other sources.
Reference service is available from any of the campus libraries. Hours of service may vary among libraries, so be sure to check for availability.
The Libraries digital reference service, Q&A: Ask Librarians, is available online, providing the opportunity to submit reference questions via e-mail or live chat. Consult the Ask Librarians home page for available options and hours of service.
Further assistance may be available by using the Libraries web tutorial, CORE (Comprehensive Online Research Education), or by scheduling an appointment with a librarian specializing in the type of research and information sources that you need.
