husband Alexander "Sasha" Shulgin, she co-authored

, books about psychedelic phenethylamines, which contain detailed synthesis instructions for over 200 psychedelic
compounds. She continues to research and write, and speaks at conferences about the healing potential of
MDMA and psychedelics.
