Executive Memorandum B-53 - Use of Copyrighted Materials for Educational and Research Purposes
On July 10, 2000, Purdue University implemented the above memorandum which addresses the use of copyrighted materials for educational and research purposes. This policy established a University Copyright Office to provide guidance to faculty and staff on the use of copyrighted works.

This poilicy which was revised May 18, 2007 details the ownership of patents and copywritable works created at Purdue
