Medical Terminology

Blood, D. C. and V. P. Studdert, compilers.  Saunders Comprehensive Veterinary Dictionary.  2nd ed.  London; New York: W. B. Saunders, 1999.  1380p.
Medical dictionaries frequently list terms of both medical and veterinary significance, as well as words of purely veterinary usage.  Although Stedman's Medical Dictionary Illustrated [28th ed., 2006] appears to define more uniquely veterinary terms, the choice between Dorland's Illustrated Medical Dictionary [30th ed., 2003] or Stedman's is a matter of personal preference.
