Purdue Libraries Publishing

The publishing division of Purdue Libraries unites Purdue University Press with Purdue e-Pubs/Scholarly Publishing Services. It is dedicated to enhancing the impact and extending the reach of Purdue research and scholarship through the development of books, journals, digital collections, technical report series, conference proceedings, and other innovative electronic products. In collaboration with other information professionals in the Libraries and across the University, we provide targeted services to support Purdue faculty, staff, and students at all stages of the scholarly communication process.

JPUR

The Journal of Purdue Undergraduate Research (JPUR) showcases the work of some of the best undergraduate researchers at Purdue, and introduces them to best practices in scholarly communication.

Student Engineering Education Publications

The Purdue e-Pubs collection of student engineering education publications provides a perfect way for graduate students in one of the world’s leading programs in engineering education to share their research with the world.

Building Construction Handbooks

Building construction handbooks, produced by Purdue University Press, provide invaluable “tools for the trade” for practitioners in the construction industry. They translate the latest research from Purdue’s leading BCM program so that it can be immediately employed in the field.

Birck Technology Papers

The Birck Nanotechnology Center uses Purdue e-Pubs to extend the impact of its research through collecting all eligible publications in an online digital collection.

JTRP Tech Reports/Road School

In 2011, the Joint Transportation Research Program technical reports were downloaded over 150,000 times from Purdue e-Pubs, and new reports are being produced with assistance from publishing services staff.

Shofar and Shofar Supplements

Shofar, an interdisciplinary journal of Jewish studies, is celebrating over 30 years of publication at Purdue with a complete redesign of its print edition by Purdue University Press and the launch of an online archive on Project Muse.

HABRI Central

As a comprehensive online resource for scholarship on the human-animal bond, HABRI Central is a joint project between the College of Veterinary Medicine and Purdue Libraries.

Spacewalker

Spacewalker represents a unique collaboration between Purdue University Press and the Barron Hilton Flight and Space Exploration Archives to create an iPad App that links a book about the life of NASA astronaut Jerry Ross with video and image collections donated to the Archives.
