As stated in our Strategic Plan, regarding Scholarly Communication and User-Centered Services, we are aware of the changing needs of the Purdue community and informed by an understanding of the context of these information needs. Please keep the librarian in your discipline informed about curriculum changes and specific needs.
Depending on curricula goals, librarians can assist by identifying and acquiring appropriate print and electronic resources, providing training for faculty regarding content and use of these resources, partnering to create student assignments integrated in the curricula, or teaching part or all of a credit course.
