U.S. Supreme Court

This court is the last resort since there are no higher courts.  The Court has nine justices so that there cannot be a tie in a decision.  The Supreme Court chooses which cases they will hear.  All cases submitted to the Supreme Court for review must be about interpreting the U.S. Constitution.
