Library Scholars Grant

The Library Scholars Grant Program, administered by the Purdue University Libraries, focuses on supporting access for untenured tenure-track members of the Purdue faculty, and associate professors tenured effective July 1, 2009, or later, to unique collections of information found around the country and the world. Awards of up to $5,000 will be made to for this purpose, with grant-supported activities to be completed by December 31, 2012.

Grant funds can be used for expenses associated with travel to archives or collections beyond Purdue, including the cost of transportation, lodging, meals, and fees charged by the library or other collection owner for access, photocopying, scanning, etc. All proposals must be submitted by email to Linda Foster, foster2@purdue.edu, with the Subject: Library Scholars Grant, no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2011.
