This collection preserves not only the history of the university but the personal collections of alumni and colleagues who have impacted the world beyond Purdue. Through names known all over the globe to others whose achievements are celebrated in smaller circles, this collection represents the best of Purdue and anticipates what is yet to be achieved.

Founded in 1960 and with over 500 books in print, a dozen journals, and robust scholarly publishing services available to all members of the Purdue community, Purdue University Press produces meaningful works for a scholarly and general audience, with a local and global focus.


Purdue Office of Undergraduate Research
OUR research poster

The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) provides research and travel grants to student researchers. Gifts to OUR support students directly in their research with a Purdue mentor and allows students to travel to conferences to present their results to others in their field.

This fund supports programming that connects students to the library space as well as the faculty and staff.
